1. Expedition Overview

Join an exclusive historic expedition into the high-altitude strongholds of the Eastern Himalayas. This journey grants civilian access past normal limits directly to the frontlines of Natu La (14,140 ft) and Cho La Pass. Stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the Indian Army as special honored guests for the historic Cho La Day Diamond Jubilee Celebrations.

2. Participation Options

Option 1: Drive Your Own Vintage / Classic Car

Bring your vintage or classic vehicle to conquer the Eastern Himalayas.

  • For Whom: Vintage and classic car owners, collectors, connoisseurs of exclusivity, and history enthusiasts.
  • Highlights: Lead or participate in the classic convoy; pre-cleared military defence permits; official Indian Army flag-off/flag-in; flatbed recovery support, medical assistance, and star hotel stays included.
  • Convoy Limit: Strictly limited vehicle convoy size to maintain military security clearance and convoy safety.

Option 2: Passenger Seat in a Vintage Land Rover

Experience the drive inside the cockpit of a 1940s Series I or 1950s Series II Land Rover driven by experienced local drivers.

  • Pricing: on Request  (Double / Twin sharing basis; exclusive of taxes)
  • Capacity: Maximum 4 passengers per Land Rover. Limited fleet availability.
  • Highlights: Ride in heritage Series Land Rovers imported by British tea planters in the late 1940s/50s; VIP access and permits for Natu La and Cho La Pass; full accommodation, daily meals, and backup support.
